A lot happened over cuppa on Koffee With Karan when star siblings Kareena Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor came. Many beans were spilled amidst fun and banter. Did anyone mind?
While Ranbir Kapoor didn’t reveal much about his ladylove, with whom he was caught by the paparazzi in their private moment in Spain, his cousin Kareena Kapoor chattered throughout the show and called Ranbir’s girlfriend her “sister-in-law”. Kareena even praised Katrina Kaif on the show.
Recently, when the media got a chance to interact with Katrina Kaif during a Dhoom 3 press meet, they were eager to know what her reaction was after learning that Kareena Kapoor had called her “sister-in-law” that too on national TV.
When asked about Kareena’s comment, Katrina said, “I don’t know…they are cousins…they were pulling each other’s leg. It was all said in jest. They were not serious.”Though one can’t deny that there was a lot of banter on ‘Koffee With Karan’, there’s a grain of truth in Kareena’s jesting, for Ranbir Kapoor looked a bit embarrassed after the comment was made. It seemed as if he was caught off-guard. Nevertheless, according to Katrina, Kareena asked her beforehand if she can call her ‘sister-in-law’ on TV when they met at Karan Johar’s house-party, and that was fine with Kat. So Katrina knew what was coming her way.
Katrina Kaif is now looking forward to the release of Dhoom 3, and apparently has plans to ring in the New Year with Ranbir Kapoor in the US.
